Haleakala Volcano on Maui is 10,000' tall, this is a backroad up the mountain. I made it up to about the 7,000' level before I had to turn around. The road is narrow, bumpy, and I'm sure I ground about an inch off the bottom of my front bumper, but I had fun, and that's what it is all about, right? The fog (clouds) moved in after I turned around, I should have shot the pics before that, as the view was mind boggling! Well, guess I'll have to go back for another trip then!
This gulch can unexpectedly flow a stream of water 5' Deep!
